Superfans
The mobile app tailored for your superfans
Superfans, formerly Vajro, is a no-code app builder that turns a Shopify store into native iOS and Android apps. You build in a web dashboard with heavy support from Superfans' team, and the app publishes to your own Apple and Google developer accounts with Superfans invited in to handle submission. Its defining feature is live video selling.
The app is designed from theme presets and 15+ homepage widgets, with real-time preview against your live catalog. No code is required for a standard build; the vendor references a Custom Blocks SDK for bespoke work, though there is no public developer documentation for it. Since the rebrand from Vajro, the positioning has shifted from app builder toward a retention and VIP channel.
Superfans is Shopify-only. Catalog and orders sync in real time, and checkout is native, built on Shopify's Storefront API with an express-checkout option for Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal. The Shopify listing has one of the largest review bases in the category.

How apps are built
You design the app in the dashboard's Design Editor, organized into themes, branding, content and navigation. There are four customizable theme presets, and screens are assembled from widgets (the vendor cites 15+), including product sliders, video banners, countdown timers and an Instagram feed, previewed in real time against the live catalog.
No code is required for a standard build, and setup is done-with-you: Superfans' support builds alongside the merchant, with a claimed 60-minute build. For bespoke work, the vendor references Custom Blocks built by connecting its SDK with Claude, and custom feature development on the top plan, though no public developer documentation for the SDK was found. A separate Superfans Admin app is used for operational tasks, primarily running live sales.
How it connects to your store
Superfans installs as a Shopify app. Inventory and orders sync in real time, while the app's homepage catalog is served from a cache that refreshes hourly on standard plans, with a 5-minute sync reserved for the higher tier; a manual sync can be triggered from the dashboard.
Checkout is native, built on Shopify's Storefront API: you generate a storefront access token and paste it into the Superfans console, and an express-checkout toggle adds Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal. Integrations work as dashboard plugins where you enable a module and supply an API key; the marketing page names 25 against a larger claim, and the help center documents around 50 setups across reviews, loyalty, subscriptions, search and chat.
Live selling and engagement
Live selling is what sets Superfans apart. You broadcast from the Admin app to the app and simultaneously to Facebook pages and groups, with cart hold (time-boxed reserved carts during a live sale), draft and duplicated sales, product racking by dropdown or barcode scanner, chat bots for add-to-cart and wishlist, comment moderation, Facebook DM auto-invoicing, and replays surfaced in the app through its Rewynd module.
Alongside live selling, push notifications are unlimited, with scheduled and automated flows (welcome, inactive-user, abandoned cart), segments, rich media and back-in-stock alerts. Retention features such as loyalty and subscriptions come through integrations, and app-exclusive discounts, drops and shipping support push-driven launches.
What it costs and who it's for
Superfans' pricing is in flux across its own channels. The Shopify listing shows a Starter plan at $150/month and an Unlimited plan at $1,000/month (or $10,000/year), while the marketing site now leads with the $1,000 Unlimited plan behind a revenue selector. Both include a 30-day free trial, and no setup fee or revenue share is published. The move upmarket is clear: the entry plan no longer appears on the main site.
It fits Shopify boutiques and DTC brands that sell through live video and push-driven drops, from smaller boutiques on the Starter plan to retention-focused brands on the Unlimited plan.
