SimiCart
Turn your Shopify store into a mobile app without coding
SimiCart is a mobile app builder for ecommerce, offered as two things under one brand: a self-serve Shopify app builder that produces native iOS and Android apps, and an older Magento offering now delivered as custom, contact-us development. The company dates to 2011 and is part of the BSS Commerce group in Hanoi, Vietnam.
For Shopify, you build the app in a web dashboard called App Studio: pick a theme template, then customize layout, colors, fonts and menus with a live, QR-code device preview. It's template-and-configuration, with no source-code access or custom-code SDK, and design-block counts and page customization are gated by plan.
SimiCart carries the Built for Shopify badge and is a Shopify Staff Pick. Publishing is done for you: you submit a publish request and SimiCart's team builds and submits the app, and can publish under its own developer accounts. Checkout runs through Shopify.

How apps are built
The Shopify build is template plus configuration in the App Studio dashboard. The documented flow is five steps: create an app draft and pick a theme template, design it with a live preview (layout, colors, fonts, visuals), set up translations and languages, configure features such as push and reviews, then submit a publish request. You can keep multiple app drafts per account.
Design surfaces cover the homepage, app settings (logo, icon, splash), branding and menus (side and bottom bar). The number of design blocks is tier-gated, from 20 on Free to 50 on Premium, and product-page, collection-page and two-level category customization sit on higher tiers. There is no merchant source-code access or custom-code SDK; a done-for-you customization package is offered on Premium.
How it connects to your store
SimiCart installs as a Shopify app and requests broad Shopify access. Store data syncs from Shopify: product and order updates are reflected immediately, and most design changes made in App Studio take effect right away, with the app icon the exception, requiring a new version. Checkout runs through Shopify's checkout and works with Shopify customer accounts rather than a separately built native checkout.
Integrations are per-feature connections rather than a marketplace: SimiCart lists around a dozen, including OneSignal for push, Judge.me for reviews, and Klaviyo and Omnisend for email, plus several same-family BSS Commerce apps for loyalty, labels and B2B. The Magento product connects differently, as a self-hosted module with app-side control of checkout fields and payment and shipping providers, delivered as custom work.
Publishing and features
Publishing is done-for-you, not instant self-serve. You fill in the store-listing metadata and submit a publish request, which SimiCart processes in about 48 hours before submitting to Apple and Google; the app is view-only during that window. SimiCart can publish under its own developer accounts or yours, and documents a migration path to move an existing store app onto its codebase.
On features, the app covers catalog, collections, filters through Shopify Search & Discovery, wishlist, quick add-to-cart and Shopify Bundles. Push notifications are unlimited through OneSignal, with app-exclusive discounts, a smart app banner, loyalty integration and an AI-powered shopping flow on higher tiers. Login supports email OTP and Sign in with Google and Apple.
What it costs and who it's for
SimiCart is a flat monthly subscription with no success fee. There is a free build-and-preview tier, then Basic at $99/month to publish, Pro at $149/month (adding more blocks, app-exclusive discounts, loyalty and the AI shopping flow), and Premium at $249/month (adding a customization package and a dedicated success manager). The Magento app is quote-based custom work.
It fits Shopify merchants who want a supported, template-based native app with a free tier to try first and flat pricing, and Magento merchants who want a done-for-you native app through a custom engagement.
