Limited public info
This is a newer or lower-profile tool, so there's limited independent information (reviews, named customers, third-party coverage) to corroborate what's below. The details still come from the vendor's own sources. Plobal Apps' Shopify listing is still live, but its public footprint has thinned: the pricing page has been removed from its site and substantive Shopify reviews dried up after late 2024 (the only later entry is a text-less rating). We can't currently confirm it is actively selling and onboarding new merchants, so we're holding it out until that is clearer.

Plobal Apps
Mobile apps to boost sales, retention and loyalty
Plobal Apps is a no-code app builder that turns a Shopify store into native iOS and Android apps. It's one of the longest-running Shopify app builders, listed on the Shopify App Store since 2016 and carrying the Built for Shopify badge, operated by Plobal Tech out of Pune, India.
Merchants assemble the app from a drag-and-drop editor, arranging configurable blocks for the home, listing, product, cart and account screens and controlling the branding. For anything the standard blocks don't cover, Code Blocks let a merchant or developer inject custom HTML, CSS and JavaScript, which is also how many third-party tools are pulled into the app.
Plobal is Shopify-only and syncs with the store in real time. Its emphasis is less on the build and more on what happens after launch: push automation, user segmentation and analytics aimed at driving installs, retention and repeat revenue. It's positioned toward mid-market and enterprise Shopify brands.

How apps are built
The core editor is a drag-and-drop builder. You assemble each screen (home, product listing, product, cart, account and order history) from configurable blocks and control the branding: colors, fonts (customizable fonts are gated to higher tiers), splash screen, banners and layout, with real-time preview.
Beyond the standard block library, Code Blocks let you or a developer inject custom HTML, CSS and JavaScript to build what the blocks don't cover, such as Buy Now Pay Later widgets, embedded video, product recommendations or quizzes, and to reuse code from your existing Shopify site. Code Blocks are also the route to pull in third-party tools that don't have a native module.
How it connects to your store
Plobal installs as a Shopify app and syncs with the store in real time across all paid tiers. It supports Shopify product metafields and tags (gated to higher tiers), variant swatches, and multi-currency and multi-language. Apple Pay is available as an in-app payment option from the Essential tier up.
Integrations attach as native modules or through Code Blocks. Plobal lists 41 integrations spanning reviews (Yotpo, Loox, Judge.me), loyalty (Smile.io, Swell, Growave), subscriptions (Recharge, Bold), support (Gorgias, Zendesk), search (Searchspring, Klevu, Nosto) and marketing (Klaviyo, PushOwl). The number you can actually use is capped by plan: 2 on Starter, 4 on Growth, 7 on Essential, and unlimited on Enterprise.
Engagement and retention
Plobal's strongest area is post-launch marketing. Push notifications are unlimited and include scheduling, rich media, welcome sends, abandoned-cart and abandoned-browse campaigns, user-segmented notifications and multi-step user journeys, with deep linking. Analytics run in real time on every tier, with advanced analytics through CleverTap from the Essential tier up, plus an app KPIs dashboard and Facebook and Google Ads SDK integration.
Higher tiers add app personalization and product merchandising on listing pages. Much of this depth is tier-gated, so segmentation, abandoned-browse campaigns and advanced analytics unlock at Essential or Enterprise rather than on the entry plans.
What it costs and who it's for
Pricing is a mix of subscription and usage. The Starter tier is free to install but takes 3% of in-app sales; Growth is $199/month, Essential is $499/month, and Enterprise is $1,199/month plus 1% of in-app sales. Higher tiers unlock more integrations, advanced analytics, segmentation and support, and paid tiers include a 30-day free trial. Publishing uses your own Apple ($99/year) and Google ($25 one-time) developer accounts.
It fits established Shopify D2C brands that want strong push automation, segmentation and analytics rather than just an app shell, and that are comfortable with usage-based or higher-tier pricing. Because it is Shopify-only, leaving Shopify means leaving Plobal.
